Pan-African Festival

Afrocentric Oakland’s 7th Annual Pan-African Festival is a free family event carefully curated to cultivate pride, joy, self-determination and sovereignty for diasporic Africans. Through participation in a full day of entertainment, music, dancing, group games, great kids activities and play area, holistic health workshops, arts, crafts, food and merchandise vendors, the day intends to celebrate the rich cultures of Africa and it’s global influences.

The Pan-African Festival at Mosswood Park is a special Black African space event that heals through a mass gathering of community in love and celebration. We appreciate the desire of our allies to join us on this special day, but respectfully reserve this space for Black diasporic Africans, and their guardians/parents/partners who come in support of their Black/African family member.
